I will replace my old gas car somewhere next year with an EV; so as circumstances may push me to buy two new cars at the same time, as my GF also will need one then, I am looking into buying two Apteras with relative short range, as even 250 miles are way more than our daylie commutes. But I would hate to miss the fun of having an EV, aka the strong acceleration and recuperation.
So I would like to know how the different batteries of the Aptera can handle the power of a 3 wheel setup?
can even a 250 mile battery deliver the full 150KW of power at under 20% of charge? Is the recuperation of a 400 mile version stronger than a 250 miles version?
Battery size Vs Power depends on the evolution of Battery technology. the raw elements used in batteries today may be needed in the new breed of batteries of tomorrow. I look for everything I can on internet about batteries, Aptera is on front line or beginning to. why not try to keep this front runner in the lead of the pack in size Vs Power by planning ahead. don't need EPA giving trouble down the line. any profit from cost effective Battery strategy can make Aptera a leader in the field of the battery size Vs power.
