Driven by the Sun

Updated: Dec 4, 2020

One of the key features that sets Aptera apart from other electric vehicles (or anything that has ever been on the road before) is our unique combination of solar and electric power that will fuel your ride without frequent stops at the charging station. In fact, depending on where you live and how much you drive, you may never need to charge Aptera at all. How? Well, watch and see.

Aptera's Never Charge Technology will propel you towards a more convenient and environmentally-clean future. You can use our calculator to determine how many times a year you'll need to charge, but we can't promise you'll ever get that number out of your head after ... or find anything else that can match it.

Getting excited yet?!?

One advantage that will make a difference is when the electrical charge needed can be pulled down from the surrounding air around! This will be produced by a central pyramid then extended to areas that have similar structures placed to allow for crops to be harvested as well as providing Free Electricity. This construction taking place upon the Mississippi river after the 70 degree rotation expected by this November. With a large flatten-off crystal now salvaged off the Sahara desert in Africa to be replaced in the Gulf of Mexico to absorb the north-spun electrons then flowing from the base of the pyramid into the water, then giving-off the positive+ change off the Capstone! This is what is right aroun…

Replying to

no just having a good angle to the Sun with no shade will help the most. To make a real difference you would need tracking to keep the vehicle at the perpendicular angle to the Sun. 10 AM to 2 PM is the best for Sun power.

I have solar PV at my home and 2 Sunovens. I just point my finger toward the Sun and check my shadow to have as little shade as possible from my arm. Then I know that is the direct angle to the Sun. I plan to park in my driveway so the back of the Aptera faces due south. My drive is on a slant so it will be very good for m…
