The EV conversion is supposed to cost American's about $12K after Tax rebates Has a top speed of 69 mph and an EPA range of 59 miles, but if you hypermile it you might get 105 miles by turning off the AC, not driving it in "Sport Mode" and turning the rear view mirrors flush with the car driving it at a constant 37.2 mph because it's drag coefficient is not so good. But it's said to be comfy inside and deceivingly roomy for passengers. For luggage, not so much unless you fold the rear seats down or pull them forward. It comes with more amenities than one would expect for its price. Also, you can get up to 74 mph by swapping the tyres for taller ones, but at the further expense of its range, due to the air drag factor. If you drive it under 50 miles per hour one can routinely get about 85 miles range. An odd feature is that you can recline the rear seats back a bit.
