The reason I didn't order the Acimodo: first, I don't like the handlebars and second, there're no doors to protect you from the elements. so Ibelieve 51% would love to have a yoke instead of the steering wheel
If it doesn't have a steering wheel, it's not legally an autocycle. You'll first need to change the state laws to allow it to be licensed to be driven on public streets.
Sixes to me yoke vs. wheel. Although I have a T3, I am not a fan of copying Tesla stuff from any model to the Aptera. Although a pilot, I used mostly sticks. Yokes only in civilian recreational flying.
If you use a yoke instead of a steering wheel, you must then modify the steering rack so that you only need to turn the yoke 90 degrees right and 90 degrees left max (like in planes and in F1 where it is used.
I am not sure it is that nice for long distance trips in a car to use a yoke.

My understanding was that was a direction they were pursuing but ... like everything until production and testing... we don’t know for sure
But above I was talking about an airbag in the steering wheel, which they did talk about . several months back ( not in this forum)?l when I asked if steering wheel coukd be fashioned to resemble their logo

Everything from the Model S Plaid should be copied

@loswa GM's Firebird II used a yoke while the Firebird III had a single, central joystick to steer, accelerate and brake.

Sorry Len, now I understand what you mean "Form/Logo Follows Function" 😉

Lots “to be seen” or maybe not seen but explained
I never want to see my airbag😉
Nice
The airbags can be the tough part with engineering into steering wheels!
And always a “ hot potato given issues on many other brands
No you need use the logo for the shape😉
