I agree with "Expert" We are not making an ROI decision here, we are intending to buy a vehicle that has some outstanding features we can't get in any other vehicular offering and that to us are amazing and VERY desirable. These features are reasonably priced against there competition in battery miles for the smaller batteries and there is NO competition/pricing for the higher (400 - 1000) mile ranges since no company is considering providing that level of performance. I think a "Steal" for something not available anywhere else
I guess that depends on your priorities. I value range highly, and Aptera beats them all on that count. 250 miles for $26K+. 400, 600 or 1000 for more. Also it's pretty fast off the mark.
If you really need seating for more than 2, you'll need to look elsewhere for a bigger, heavier, less efficient vehicle. Ditto if you need a truck.
Yeah, the FUV range just sucks for me, still got my deposit down and I'm not sure why. But hey, sold a portion of my stocks at a fairly high point, still got shares that are all profit now, plus what I cashed in will be a nice bit for my Aptera investment.
I think it's somewhat of a competitor. In gliders, tandem is the first choice. Very few glider are side by side. I chose my 2000 Honda Insight because it was a side by side. The Aptera is way cooler.

Well,,, a 30k Tesla or a 40k F150 would be a lot more bang for the buck than a 30 or 40k Aptera.
Just my opinion.
