Not much here that would indicate progress toward production. A visually appealing video but no "Data" on design, performance, schedule, cost, etc. Nothing here to inspire my confidence that this will come to fruition anytime soon compared to the plethora of data available on the Aptera to include a public filing with schedule of projected production late 2021/2022
Yeah, but it's still a good step forward from the previous site just saying "we're still working on it", with basically no updates. Just another vehicle project I enjoyed, and am glad to hear is still moving forward.

I thought the Sondors EV car had fizzled away. Now they have the new video of the car, which looks quite different from the original design - but no info on it. I'm still all in on the Aptera. Aptera is the one for me.
Thanks to Joshua Vance for posting the Video/Site link 😀
No problem! I've been watching Sondors for the last year or so just wondering if they were gonna be able to continue their progress with the EV, of course this is all they have for now, but I figured the picture and video of the newly designed prototype would be appreciated.
Glad to see the diversity in up coming offerings, but I remain underwhelmed by all others so far. No one else is coming close to matching Aptera’s focus on the important stuff.
As am I, I'd only consider the Sondors or the Riversimple besides the Aptera. Sondors for the third seat (might be useful) decent range (300 miles from claims a few years ago) and the presumably lower cost (was claimed to only cost $10,000 but that was with a 100~ mile battery). The Riversimple I just really enjoy the design of.
Hydrogen power way before its time in the U.S. with little or no "Charging" infrastructure. Development and initial market seems to be U.K. focused. I would not expect this to be viable here until perhaps the time Aptera fields a limo. Also the business model would have questionable success in the U.S.
@retmil91 I keep hearing that hydrogen is on the "up and up", and making all these strides and improvements, I hope so it's a technology I enjoy, and would like to see fully realized, but I have no idea how it will establish itself with all these different "superbatteries" and things coming out. I imagine there's room for both to overlap and work in tandem, but I'm not as well researched on hydrogen as I'd like.
@Joshua Vance nor am I. Just superficial. As of Jan 2021 there were a total of 45 publicly available charging stations in the U.S., 43 of which were in California. Currently costly to extract hydrogen. Advances in electrolysis can change this but still in the future. Currently extraction is based on fossil fuel products. About 1M cost of building a hydrogen fueling station. May be competitive one day but not soon. Advantage of course is it has a high energy density per charge vs. electric
I missed that update. Looks good.
