Another So Cal EV start up. This one is the first solar-powered SUV. Although three times the price of the Aptera, it will certainly have its merits. It claims 60 miles per daily solar charge in a vehicle much bigger than the Aptera and less aerodynamically shaped. Again we are just seeing the "best of" numbers which manufacturers claim in the most ideal situations. I think we will see a lot over the next 2 years of start ups with visions along these lines. My best guess is that a third of them will never come to fruition. But each concept helps develop the progress in EV's, both technologically, as well as competitively. Just tossing this out to share with everybody.

They are planning to cover the roof and windows with proprietary solar cells totaling 82 sq ft. This is 2.4 times the 34 ft3 area of the Aptera max solar package. Their wind drag is 2-3 times more than the Aptera (Cd=0.25, larger frontal area), but 60 miles range added might be possible if they are quoting a city range, where drag isn't so important.
