The obvious reason Tesla was not invited to EV day is that they have always been 100% EV, the invited ones were the ones needing or providing the education.

@David Marlow - also missing from the event were Rivian and Lucid - so NO "all-EV" companies were invited to attend. Also, the plan includes PHEV and HFC vehicles, as well as BEVs - so that cuts-out the three EV-only manufacturers, as well...
