Many of you are aware that we will be launching a new website for Aptera in the near future. As such, we will be migrating to a brand new forum and archiving this one. It is not possible from a technology standpoint to preserve the old forum threads (part of the reason why we are updating). When the new site launches, we will be sending out an email instructing you to create a new password so you can continue to post on the forum and access your customized Aptera order. We look forward to your feedback, and we'll continue to make improvements once we launch to create the best possible experience for our customers and fans. Really Chinkypoo? I do the same thing. I'm driving my Prius while imagining I'm driving my brand new Luna. I'm really paying attention to the narrow roads, tight turns and parking lot spaces and wondering ... will it fit? I'm I nuts???
Sometimes I feel that the enthusiasm for this car makes people a little crazy. Without meaning to we ask questions that have no answer, we think we'd be faster at building the car or we just want things done now. I share your pain. If I had my way I'd like weekly updates, live feed cameras in the shop and a direct line to Steve or Marketing to preview the videos and suggest changes that would take them from the Safe Zone to the Pop zone. The Owners never seem comfortable or it sounds to scripted. They need someone who is a natural and shows excitement for what is being shared. If you're doing technical videos, stay on track and let each point flow into the next in an intuitive manner. When talking up the car, talk to the things that inspired you to build it in the first place. Be Happy. Be excited. Let the public catch that fever and throw money at you!

You'll want this for the following reasons,...Then explain why the first time car buyer won't be buried in finance, cost of ownership, stepping stone to freedoms of ownership, Saving the planet, saving your wallet, cost compared to other car, Cutting from the grid, thinking outside the box and being your own person. Stop driving the box and drive an Aptera!
Thanks Sara. I'm patiently waiting for the updated website. I'd love to upgrade my Luna order and add full solar.... might even consider the 400 mile range instead of the 250 mile one.
I agree with Scott. It would be a shame to lose all the variety of posts, comments and reference material. Can't you figure out a way to provide access to the old forum as a 'read only' archive?

Can't wait to change from black to silver, order the full solar not just roof, and add the driver assist. Was getting sticker shock so left it off first order.

Even if not integrated, it would be great to include a link to the old forum. The old forum could be closed to all new comments or changes. Something like that should be readily doable. There are a lot of interesting inputs, ideas, and reference material in this forum that would be a shame to suddenly and unexpectedly vanish.
