Eh, maybe they're just car people. And there are not a lot of great EV choices for SUVs yet (especially if you do need to tow). Aerodynamically a Defender probably isn't much worse than any other large SUV in that segment lol. They are all bricks in comparison to the Aptera.
I do wonder, what would an Aptera SUV look like? Totally alien compared to any other SUV. I'd love to see a render of an aerodynamically optimized SUV (to the extreme of the Aptera). How efficient could you make an SUV sized vehicle? 150mpge? 200?
