In general, the earliest that production will start is the end of the year. Many of the large manufacturers are having their production dates for new models slip because of Covid-19 production shortages, and I know that this is affecting Aptera, too. We won't know the impact if any, for months, yet. There are now around 10,000 pre-orders. The production rate is not expected to reach 10,000 per year until the end of 2022, so recent orders won't be delivered until well into 2023. By then, they may be working on the sedan, so it is uncertain that production will increase on this model, even if the demand is there. We will have to see what happens.
@msarary In reality, you didn't place an order - you made a reservation for a spot on the line to eventually place an order. Once production begins it's likely that those holding reservations will be asked to place a deposit to convert those reservations into orders.
