Will the Aptera have “Valet Mode” and “Hot-rod Youth Mode”? I did a search and Could not find these.
Valet mode limits the acceleration and top speed for when the valet is parking and retrieving the vehicle. It also blanks out home and other locations on navigation, wifi and bluetooth settings, and other features.
Hot-rod Youth Mode is my own idea and speaks for itself. It is for when someone else uses the vehicle, and it likewise imposes some, but not all, of the valet mode limitations.
These would be nice features to have, and easy to implement, since they consist of only software and require no hardware. If there is currently no time to develop these before release, they can be promised now and delivered later as a software download.
Any ideas? Though, I am sure no one here has a hot-rodding youth. With my name of "Pistonboy" you can be sure I neeever hot-rodded when I was young.
this more important than one may think, b/c aptera currently relies on 2 seater car market, most people who want affordable car will have 1 do-it-all car for family.
Don't you mean Jay Leno boy racer mode?
