Jack Benny was a famous frugal man....
Let me take you through what his thought process may have been...

Aptera wants $100 for a reservation....
That’s a lot of my shinny pennies....
Code below for $30 off refundable reservation deposit:
That’s a lot of savings and....it is refundable!

My unspent pennies from this discount stay safe and continue to grow!
The sun can fuel my Aptera.
I only have to care for three wheels.
It is the MOST efficient vehicle in its class!
Most states register as a motorcycle and there may be a super efficient alternative fuel $ incentive in the works... God Willing and the Creek Don’t rise!😉
I can fix it myself ( Right to Repair ) And I only need a few basic tools, they say!
Composite body does not rust and should last for decades
I can fit in the cargo area and sleep in it for free! Camping outfit... if I want to splurge....
I’m going in!
Dec 2nd reservation...dunno, have been here before. Likely to come before by Cybertruck. Just so much to overcome to get a real car made.
Got my reservation and
--=Ξ[̲̅$̲̅(̲̅ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°̲̅)̲̅$̲̅
riding on it!
Wouldn't it be something if 20-30 years from now, Aptera's are considered the 21st century's VW Beetle; ubiquitous, durable, cheap to buy used, cheaper still to operate, easy to fix, probably all kinds of customized versions...
Gonna take a while for anybody else's product to even approach what Aptera is offering now (or at least by the end of the year).
In a few decades it could be what every free spirited, cash strapped youth wants for their first vehicle.
My Dad knew Jack Benny and Eddie "Rochester" Anderson. Jack gave him a personal violin concert. He would get together with Eddie Anderson for lunch whenever he was traveling to LA. (we lived in Chicago). Thanks for posting!
