So I went through a fully loaded build your own and got to $48,300. I think the site should total this up for you. Does anyone else think that simplicity of design should delivery this vehicle for a much lower price? I'd love to see it fully loaded for $25k and have them flying off the shelves. Especially when gas prices go back up in the future.

yeah, not happening for under $10k. Not happening for under $20k, most likely. the original plan was for under $10k. As usual - and like Tesla Model 3, the "affordable EV for the masses, at under $30k" - they upped the price once they got people interested and putting down deposits. If we ever actually see this thing, it'll be $25k if it's a penny. And a lousy 300 miles on a charge? By the time this this comes out - which is probably either A) Never, or B) 2025 - batteries will be solid state and getting double this. Hopefully, they are planning to upgrade at no additional cost... If it ever actually comes out. Which I doubt. To be honest, cars like this - and the Aptera - will never be mass produced unless they get BIG money backing. As in Billions. Not a few million. That's laughable. Look at Arcimoto. Their "under $12,000" 3 wheeler is actually more like $16,000-18,000. And their production is pitifully low. They're motorcycle replacement vehicles for rich people, and fun rentals in tourist areas.
If that is too expensive, then you should look at the Sondors for 10.000 USD.
@Ron Travisano So you're getting a fully-loaded EV for just about the same price as a Tesla Model 3 or a Kia E-Niro - but with four times the range.
battery prices are falling. solid state batteries should soon (2025) be half what we are looking at now for twice the range and almost instant charge. so in 2025, you could get 1000 mile range for $26,000, or 500 miles for $24,000. Do you want to wait? Not everyone will have the same answer to this question.
The bottom configuration is about $26k and that's only 250 miles of range. Only. Well that's still a pretty nice electric vehicle range, but imagine if the bottom price was $14k!!!! It would be gangbusters.
