I'm on board with simple seat designs to keep weight and complexity down, yet we are all different sizes, and I've always hated flying on planes because I'm not "average". So what about maybe 3? seat options for the specs that don't fit our range of body shapes and sizes easily, then maybe just a lumbar adjustment in each?
Sure "tuning" a vehicle for one driver does have its drawbacks, but if we can order and replace parts easily maybe swapping seats can be as well.
Seats must be power adjustable with lumbar support. Don’t like seats that sit low. It’s harder on the hips as you age.
Steve talked here (https://youtu.be/bDMqEmUGxX4) about more headroom via a wider shell and lower seats ... I'm one who doesn't need either. So without adding heavy seat adjust mechanisms (that are rarely used) maybe just bolt in seat height spacers on the floor (along with the 3 or so seat molds mentioned previously for different body widths) to accommodate those of us who want to see over the hood? 😉 I'm good with wrenches so will not mind literally swapping seats for different drivers (which will rarely if ever happen).

@duane voth do you use this common interior part to get in and out the car?:https://www.aptera.us/forum/main/comment/6075d7b1a1befc001575e89b
i never found use for it but i guess its would be helpful as tool to sort of swing in to the car for larger or disabled people
I agree. As another person not exactly at the top of the bell curve regarding body size/shape the one show stopper for me would be not being able to sit comfortably. It would break my heart, but maybe I could have a rebound relationship with a Ford f150 lightening
