What's to keep a Competitor or Oil Company from buying Aptera Stock when it's offered and killing the whole project? Aptera is so much needed and deserves to be brought to market.

I come from a generation where it was common for big business to buy out companies just to shelve new ideas so I could be bias my interest in Aptera is this vehicle speaks to me of innovation and environmental friendliness. Most of the newer companies smack of trying to ride on Tesla’s coat tail I don’t see that in Aptera I see much more concern for our environment and how efficient Aptera’s design is while I would love to own a Tesla for there innovated dream I love the Aptera’s design and amazing concept of there composite body and simplistic construction of there body and there strength of material they will use. I’m not sure of how much the people realize the impact of the Aptera to bring all the pieces of technology together to help the environment. There dream started a long time ago
There are many startup EV companies already trading on the stock market. Tesla, BYD, Nio, Lucid, Arcimoto, Arrival, Xpeng, Lordstown, Workhorse, Electrameccanica, Canoo, Fisker, Nikola, etc. None of them have been bought out by competitors or oil companies.
I feel this vehicle will benefit this planet much more than people realize and needs to be protected from ruthless corporations that would seek to control anything that stands in there way to make a profit even to the detriment of the world. Aptera could make even more of an impact to clean our environment than Tesla. This is a game changer for sure no doubt what so ever. I have never felt this strong about anything in my 67 years on this planet. Aptera will make history
It looks like most of the controlling/voting stock will stay in the hands of Aptera. As Bruce said Aptera seems to be well prepared for the possibility.
The Aptera founders are well aware of the danger of losing control, both through having it happen once and executing a successful IPO with a subsequent company. I think they will be well prepared for such a threat.
