I had a little give and take with an auto insurance person at USAA as whether there'd see any downside to the Aptera as far as insurance is concerned.
I gave him this Website address. He huddled with another rep for a bit and they agreed so long as it has a VIN, they'd insure it.
However.
He said it would probably be a bit expensive as you couldn't go into a parts store and buy some of the replacement parts - especially body panels.
I did watch the presentation on the Right to Repair. Will a body shop (for example) beyond your field service radius be able to order and replace a body panel?
Has anyone received an autocycle insurance quote? Let's say clean license over 50 years of age? Just trying to get an idea.
