I purchased 2,632 shares of Aptera stock ($10,001.60) on June 19. Where are the certificates? How do I track the stock value?

@fanfare If you invested over $10k then they'll more than likely apply that discount once they call you for payment, closer to your expected delivery

Thanks, Silencz. That clears it up for me. Jacob May did mention “Reg A+” once, but I think I’ll just ignore that. I was simply mixing up the A’s and the B’s. I now feel a lot better about the whole thing. Thanks.

Reno, I can totally sympathize with your situation. The most recent episode of my saga is I was told that one of my purchases would be cancelled and a refund would be issued. It would take several weeks for me to get the refund. After explaining that I didn’t ask for any refund - just asking where my money is and have I actually made a real investment, they said my money was with a third party vendor and that I could chose as to whether or not I wanted a refund. Here is what I now believe - I most likely am not being scammed but they are not properly or adequately set up to deal with the massive number of investments that came in close to and on the 19th. They were just overwhelmed. I was able to get a faster reply from Jacob using the address: “jacob@issuance.com”. In the mean time I’ll be waiting for my “ceremonial whatever”.

I had the same email, and had to upload a copy of my drivers license. The portal website has a couple issues. You cannot upload from a smart phone or tablet - I had to use a laptop. Second issue - you have to use a full URL including https:// . Naked URLs don’t work. But after all of that, my payment went through and I received the purchase confirmation as well as the ceremonial certificate.

@greyskye Was the "ceremonial certificate" Electronically sent, or a hard copy?

@Ozman ...Paradigm Plus FYI - I received the 'agreement' and 'ceremonial certificate' as PDF file attachments to an email.

I got the eMail 16 June - funds received / placed in escrow

but no certificates yet.

However I paid with a credit card. And since cc transactions are reversible for some time, the escrow service might hava to wait a month or two before sending out certificates.

Anyway it does not matter. It will be years before aptera's shares get listed and I have no intention to sell.

@innovativeiserv The same for me. I received the confirmation that funds were deposited in escrow account the 16th of June. But no certificate yet.

I've sent several emails to that address and added Jacob Mays name to the body.

I bought shares twice. Both before the dead line. I asked Jacob why the second purchase had not been taken from my account. No answer. I'm at a loss as to how I get that second allotment.

@John Wiley second round? As far as I know this was the first round they offered shares to non accredited investors. They had two rounds through Wefunder, one in 2020 and in 2019 but they were simple agreement for future shares. I invested in the round that ended on June 19th. I received an email for my purchase, another email about a week later stating the funds were put in escrow, and another email with the stock certificate.

@vick4717 I made my purchase on June 19. On June 23 I received notice that Aptera had received the funds and the money was being put in escrow. I haven’t received anything since June 23. I’m getting worried.

@John Wiley John, I created the investment account and made the investment on 6/11 (a Friday). On 6/15 the funds were recorded as received into the escrow account. On 6/21 the funds were taken out of escrow and transferred to Aptera and the stock certificate was emailed to me. All of these transactions were communicated via email. So the acceptance of my funds took one business day and the escrow transfer and issuance of stock took 4 business days.

It’s been 9 days. Nothing yet. How long should I expect to have to wait? I got 2 responses from Jacob May - in the first response he says he verified that Aptera received the full $10,001.60 from my credit card company; in the second he tells me they have no record of receiving the funds. What is going on here? Has anyone heard of Jacob May from Aptera Investment Support?
