In one of the videos, didn't someone say there would only be 1 Bug on the vert front tip. Maybe 2 if stacked 😁. It sure looks like there is one big selling point Aptera vs Tesla.

@Kerbe #12705 Good point, hadn't thought of that. Also, they note excessive speed is easy to reach, e.g., 100+, accidentally, because of lack of wind noise. Tech creates a new environment we need to adjust for. Imagine when SpaceLink has completely connected every corner of the world, quick/cheaply, all communications are encrypted, NSA, all govt. spying is cut off, we will be freer than we have been for a long time, 1 World Not Governed, just people talking to each other without the diplomats to get in the way.
The one bug comment was a slight exaggeration. Having experience from gliders, which have noses with shapes similar to the Aptera, you will get bugs on the nose. Not nearly as man as less aerodynamic vehicles, but it will happen. It's just physics. The bugs are more dense than air, so they don't move out of the way quite as fast as the air. If the bugs are close enough to the point in the airstream where it's split, the inertia will make them hit the vehicle.
Home builders of aero-efficient cars report no wipers a necessary because the rain flows over and off.

I plan to apply Rejex, just in case! https://www.corrosionx.com/collections/detailing-protective-coatings-waxes/products/rejex
Be very curious to test & see others test this. Nathan from aptera also said the rain just goes over the car too at speed.
Can’t wait to validate
Yes especially in those states with June bugs!
