We have endangered species here, thousand of acres around was purchased by the state/owned by the feds....So we know how to protect the lonely. Here I can keep it very well.

A little mental math, I ordered mine 132 days ago.

Based on that, they are averaging about 28 orders a day.

Not bad for a car with little to no advertising so far and nobody has seen it, touched it, driven it.....

Aptera - Keep up the good work. You might have to find a way to up your estimate of 10000 for next year!!!!

@Dan Stevens Yep 10x is conservative. This will be the best car in the entire world, if you can get past the wild design and only having 2 seats. If they do decide to put in the 3 seat option then I think demand will always outpace supply.

$10k point of sale deduction would be insane. That would definitely make me opt for the custom interior I've been considering. Others would think similarly, so not only would Aptera get unbelievable sales but their per sale revenue would increase as well.

@Silencz I don't believe there's any talk of ever making the EV tax credit a point of sale discount - it has been a tax credit which one takes the following year when filling taxes.

@#20116 There is definitely discussions about it being a POS credit. Whether or not that happens remains to be seen, but I would think if they redo how the EV credit is done, then this has a reasonable chance.

Of course you are right Dan. The numbers I quote are only good for marketing purposes but they are a great indication of the interest in this vehicle. I think they should ask for $1000 deposit soon so we can all move up the line. Soon enough I’m sure. Let me know if anyone in the three digit category wants to give up their reservation. 🏎️

The order number doesn't directly translate to the number of orders. The order number is about 12K now, but Aptera confirmed that they just crossed the 10K order threshold. A fair number of folks do cancel their pre-order.

@#20116 I read that when you change your order, they issue you a new order number. So perhaps 10% have changed their order.

I think if we get a big number of comments that will indicate to them that it is important to the community. Of course it’s kind of like asking a rancher how me cows he has. I’m an investor as well so it is doubly important to me but I can understand if they only want to reveal the numbers periodically. I have heard comment that they may be getting as much as 100 orders a day. That will put them at 15,000 or so sometime in August conservatively. 15,000 orders at an average of 35k an order is .5 Billion in orders by my calculations. GO APTERA!!
