Yes, that is the Luna in the background and they did say it was being wired before being wrapped. But notice, it is gray. A color very close to silver. I had previously wondered if the composite color would be close to the color of the wrap. The noir composite was black, and the Lund composite is apparently gray. The Sol was not white, but perhaps it will be. (This is the early stage of manufacturing and composites can be white.)
If the composites are the same color as the wrap, this would be a very good feature. A scratch would reveal a color below that is essentially the same color as the wrap, making the scratch much less noticeable. This would be innovative and something not done by other vehicle companies. It would be another innovation to be added to the already long list of innovations of Aptera.
@pistonboy Remember, though, that the "Sol" prototype was painted "to save time" (whatever that means). As these are development vehicles there are probably shortcuts being taken and processes being explored - so we can't really assume that "what we see is what we'll get."
Economically, though, it wouldn't make sense to spend the money, time and effort (and weight) on adding an outer layer of color to something that's going to be color-wrapped.
