Being from Holland I am off course also very interested in this. I hope Aptera has or will consult an homologation expert for European type approval. In the L5e vehicle class the vehicle can not be wider than 2 meters. The Aptera is wider at the moment. Maybe there is a way to get type approval for Europe but it will take some research.

I can answer my own question from the FAQ haha: How do you intend to introduce this vehicle in the EU, as it doesn't seem to fit within the current legislation?
We have an EU homologation and certification expert working with us and have seen no huge barriers to entry. We are encouraged that other three-wheelers like the Polaris Slingshot are currently certified and for sale in Europe.
Thank you for your post! For those whose German may be rusty like mine, Oliver said, "Thank you for one of the few cars in the entire world that has such good physics. Please sell in in Germany, too. "And Friso says :I have been waiting already forever to be able to purchase such a practical car. It must be produced for the European Market, too."My understanding from Aptera is that they intend to make the car available in Europe. I think we are all excited about a future with the Aptera car in it!

Hallo Oliver.
