What is the new timeline for production? Will vehicles be available for sale yet this year? And a request... please make them in bright colors so they are visible to other motorists.
@Leah Miller They are on track to have production intent vehicles by the end of the year if the supply chain has recovered. They still want to crash test them and publish the results, so I expect that first customer deliveries won't start until the new year.
Web pages are designed by graphic artists, and artists are only concerned with how beautiful web pages are, not how informative they are. Web page design should have technical people involved.
Today, the internet has a very feminine flavor to it.
I personally wouldn't try to read anything into the page displays and photos that were used. (Names, Equipment, Battery Placement, Etc.) Although all of the things listed by others may end up being true, they might just as well not be. It looks like screen shots were taken from a work in progress and the point was to show what the pages look like, not necessarily the final details. Pictures and names could have been pulled from out of the air while doing the layout and are very likely not the final product. (As evidenced by the 2nd shot showing a 400 mile range vehicle with a 100kW battery pack.)
There are now names associated with the various battery sizes: Sunday Driver, Weekend Warrior, Commuter and Vagabond.
I am thoroughly underwhelmed. I hope they don’t go hog wild with those and make obnoxious decals or worse. If they feel the need to advertise the battery size on the vehicle, I’d much prefer just the numbers; 25,40,60 or 100.
It briefly shows the hood solar option selected and when it does, the tail chevrons are not light green. These tail chevrons do light up green when the rear hatch solar option is chosen. This appears to mean the tail solar chevrons only come as part of the solar hatch option.
In the new order process, shown in the video, at one point it says "Select paint color". Perhaps that should be changed so the word "paint" is left out. The Aptera is not painted and people may expect it.
That’s interesting. I hadn’t noticed till just now that the new graphic shows the battery pack modules looking like inverted Ts, sticking up into the passenger compartment. Really scrabbling for spare volume to stuff the batteries in, one might guess. Fine by me if it works.

The pull out, under-dash, tray on the driver's side is gone. There is what appears to be a latch for a traditional glove box.

Where the vehicle color is chosen, they show the Luna, Sol, and Noir, but they show a new colorful choice. What color choice is this? Tutti fruitti?

Thank you for the update! Go Aptera!
