All I remember was that he was commenting that if it is in a sunny area, it has a tremendous green house effect. I would watch out for the width of the Aptera.
@Len I agree. The concept is good but I think it is over-priced. But for some without garage space, it may be a solution. That is why I sent you the fabric versions. For $450 plus shipping you can try out the concept and upgrade to GazeBox if it works out later. Hopefully by then they will have a local US distributor and service.
I have a few questions on the Model M which I sent in to my US contact. If I have more questions I will come back to you but maybe some early questions for your member if they care to answer:
How old is your unit!
Is it the tinted plastic type? ? How is it holding up?
What model do you have? With side man- door?
Are you using the manual open method? If so is it easy to open and stay open?
Any suggested maintenance?
How did you anchor yours and is it stable in strong wind?
Would you recommend?
Does it ventilate well!
Do you think I can enhance seal to keep critters out?
What would you have ordered differently or options ordered?
Hey Len. The Gazebox has been around for a few years. A club member has the the version for two motorcycles. They are made in Italy and will probably cost 50% of the price of the Aptera basic. I'll park mine in the garage and charge from the stored solar energy collected from the rooftop panels. We all have our own ideas...getting the Aptera is the start. By the way, the north-south parking pavement you have would be perfect for the east-west sun travel during the day.

Thank you
