I've been searching here, and everywhere else, and although I know Aptera hasn't released much of a GUI model of their proposed display, does anyone know if it will be similar to Tesla with a radar traffic display?
I know they're aiming for lane-keep assist, braking, etc, but I was trying to figure out if their sensor array will give us an idea (visual or audio) as to obstacles around the vehicle, other cars, pedestrians, and other things that can hide in the blind spots.
As an aside, with the amount of cameras around the vehicle, will there anything similar to Sentry Mode or exportable dashcam footage?
They are still working with multiple vendors on the supply of the safety pilot. The choice of vendor may also influence the sensors they use. It sounds as though that the wiring harness will have all the required sensors and a simple plug in board will enable the feature and that OTA updates will be available. We will know more when they are able to announce the chosen vendor.
