Will there be some way to add android apps directly in the infotainment system? Or will there be some way to create custom apps to be installed in the infotainment system?
Will it be possible to install AbetterRoutePlanner in the car? Or is it already used as GPS?
As long as one's car has a Bluetooth infotainment system, one can add Android Auto. I do this in my BMW i3 and have also added an Alexa voice control. This is really valuable in a car since you can do everything by voice control. By interfacing Internet music like Pandera and Amazon Prime Music, one would never have a need to purchase a CD again. I also get live local television, news, and sports for the passenger.
