What kind of custom options would you want to see from aptera. I would be interested in having an exposed wheel option front and rear similar to the early 2e prototype, this would be helpful for ground clearance and cost reduction.

Also would be interested in a total solar delete.

Possibly a glass roof as in this image

Ability to expand the solar array with a simple input to give the Aptera more charge with third party panels. Its easy and cheap to cover a carport with solar panels. The hard/expensive part is all the additional complexity connecting the panels to your house/grid and getting permits.

Could someone suggest some custom wrap options?
1) Hydraulic auto-suspension that auto-detects terrain and adjusts itself for road clearance between off-roading and smooth-roading 2) Camping option topper that does not interfere with solar panels and is built for driving or hauling light yet voluminous packages, such as many many many rolls of toilet paper. 3) Sentry-mode to protect against those fossil fuel apologists who would seek to do the Aptera harm.
4) A small harness package to hunker down a spare doughnut tyre for cross long trips, just in case one gets a flat in the middle of Death Valley, for example. 😉 5) An auxiliary battery, with handles (that could offer like a 70 to 100 mile range) the size of a suitcase that will fit under either front seat that can be pulled out and plugged into a wall socket overnight if you are staying at a hotel or if the car is at a parking garage with no charger.
6) An environmental control app for pre-warming or pre-heating the Aptera 5 minutes before take-off.
7) Snowmobile wheel-add-ons for severe winter months in Colorado, Wyoming or the Canadian Northwest Territories.
8) The wing-attachment package which could sit in an hangar at the airport to which one would drive into, snap on, engage the wheels and fly away. I wonder how much range one would get? Maybe even more that 1,000 miles? lol
9) The amphibious and/or submarine package, making it the perfect getaway vehicle worthy of Spy Kids to drive and then swim to your secure secret island. It could resurface from time to time to recharge and get at least 10 nautical miles worth of juice. Not sure how aerodynamic translates to hydrodynamic. Somebody help me out here. lol 10) Finally, a small, compact, foldable rear-facing military-airlift-style canvas rumble-seat with seat-belts for the times one is suddenly faced with having to transport an extra passenger but does not want to permanently be toting around a large seat. 11) An auxiliary unfoldable solar panel canopy that could complement the Aptera's already inherent solar cells charge at the aggregate tune of about 100 miles per day. 12) An electric inverter package capable of delivering a reasonable number of watts for when camping or as power backup in the event of an extended power outage such as what happened in electrically deregulated Texas. 14) The Aptera solar package with complementary photovoltaic paint for an aggregate potential of up to 60 miles per day of charging.
Exposed wheels like in the top two pics also saves weight & parallel parking curb damage.
Ground clearance is 9" as measured for other off-road vehicles, between front & rear wheels. I just saw a TV ad for the new Bronco, bragging about 8-point-something.
They offer an optional off road kit ,which are higher wheel covers but have not read confimed increase over the Std 5”.GC, Hoping for 9”. You can unclip the std covers to access wherl but no picture yet.
The least amount you csn get is the dash and roof
The solar is also used to vent hot air out if the interior so not just fir charging.
They said they were planning V2G but no details yet
Seems they are focusing to get the company started and a pretty neat vehicle on the road first
Simple wheel arch mudguards would be a very important option for those with narrow roads and garaging.
