I will using my Aptera vehicle for long road trips and I am hoping for additional 12vdc outlets located in the cargo area of the Paradigm for charging electronics etc. I also hope they include multiple cargo tie downs through the cargo area. Emergency stops could be dangerous if there is no barrier between the cargo area and the passenger area and cargo is un secured. I ordered one of the large battery pacs and I would really value being able tap into the large propulsion battery with a 120vac 60 Htz 20 amp duplex electrical outlet. This power could be very useful while camping, or by contractors and repair people for tools, lighting etc and even for charging another EV! I would gladly pay extra for this option as it would greatly increase this vehicles utility.

Yes, yes, & yes, depending on how you look at it:
Whenever a 500e key is on (either "acc" or "ready" mode) the HV drive battery powers the DC-DC converter which powers everything that's hooked up to the 12V system.
The 2800W I mentioned is a guy with a crazy-powerful sound system hooked up to the 12V terminals but really running off the HV-batt-powered DC-DC converter as long as the key is on. Key off, it would completely kill the stock 12V in 15 minutes!
Other 500e users have connected 1.2kW "pure sine" inverters directly to the 12V terminals, to power their fridge, microwave, coffee-maker, blender, computer, TV etc. in an outage. Just check each item's peak power rating but note that motors like a fridge or A/C can have a huge spike on startup.
Based on the stereo guy above, it seems my car has a 3kW DC-DC converter, which is apparently typical huge overkill in many EVs (2016 Tesla S is 2.5kW & Leaf is nearly 2kW). HOWEVER Aptera's quest for efficiency has them reportedly "testing ... 1.5kW and less DC/DC converters". 1.5 is plenty to run most appliances except some bigger or older microwaves.
