Do you think the Aptera 2e will have a proximity key, a Bluetooth connection to your phone (similar to the Tesla Model 3) to unlock the car or another method to unlock the car?
Will the car automatically turn on when you put your foot on the brake or a push button start?
It would be great if they would use the key capability that Apple has made available.
@JT On the first prototype the doors open via a touch sensor on the body panel directly to their rear - there aren't keys or external locks. The interior shows no power button. I get the general impression that they are taking a lot of cues from Tesla so would expect there to be either some sort of NFC/Bluetooth app connection or RFID card or both for access and/or start-up.
What is the max load capacity, can it do a Cost-Co run?
Great question! Maybe you can ask Steve or Chris on the wefunder page. For now the forum is not a place of direct communication with the founders.
