The Aptera is so unique, the first paradigm shift since the model T. I have waited, dreamed of something like this for over a half century. I want a pearl white for reflection because I live in very hot desert, but if all they sold was black, the worst color for me, I would buy it because I can overlook it considering the extreme improvements overall. My color complaint would be nit-picking.
You can pick from a wide range of colors (at extra cost). You might even be able to get a light color for the top surfaces but it might look really weird because they have to trim around each solar cell.
While I'm here, does anyone know which wrap-film manufacturer Aptera plans to use?
The last I heard from Chris Anthony on YouTube was the width may be 2 inches less than the 88 inches it is currently. Nonetheless, Chris said to plan on 88 inches and recommended allowing 92 inches in your driveway or garage. He also reminded folks that the "wing" doors open up and wouldn't be wider than the outside of the front pants wheel cover.
So, no matter how close you're parked next to another car, wall or other obstruction you should be able to open the doors. Of course, that means you won't be parking your "Luna" or "Sol" in a compact parking space.
In my situation all my cars are parked in the driveway since my garage is used for storage. My F-150 stays parked in front of the garage most of the time and is used primarily for hauling loads my Prius' won't accommodate. My wife and I share two Priuses - 2008 and 2016 models. Our driveway is just wide enough to allow me to park the 2008 model near the driveway entrance and off to one side close to the neighbor's hedge. We use the 2016 for our daily driving (we are both retired so more commuting to work for us) and squeeze by the 2008 model when we enter and exit the parking spot in front of the F-150.
The Aptera will replace the 2008 Prius and make it a tight squeeze to get in and out of the driveway. BUT... it will work... The things we do to occupy our minds while waiting delivery of our 3-wheeled friend!!
@Jan Kilpinen I think perspective view is screwing with that picture since the doors are much closer to the camera point than the wheels. Here's front view. IIRC the doors open about 2 inches wider than the wheel pants. So to say they are about the same is broadly correct but to say they are not wider at all is incorrect.
@Rcnesneg the front picture has the same perspective problem except now the front wheels are closer to the camera making the wheels look artificially wider.
I get hat, however, there has to be a reasonable compromise. I measured my driveway and while the Paradigm will just about fit, it fits tightly which makes maneuvering somewhat difficult. I'm still looking to buy one, since I may be moving out of where I am soon. Hopefully my next dwelling will have a wider driveway.
I'm in The U.S. though, and the driveway of the house where I live barely accommodates the owner's Ford Raptor when he has decided to park it here when I'm at work. This wouldn't be an issue if I could park in the street but I live in a "deed restricted " community that doesn't allow it. Aptera could shorten the A-arms and narrow the "wheel pants" or make the"wheel pants" easily detachable, it could solve the problem. If the suspension could be lowered to compensate for the narrower track, Aptera may be able to compensate for the lack of width while making it fit in driveways more easily.

Part of the reason for the width is the front is so the air turbulence is reduce between the body of the car & the wheels.
Yes or close to it unless there will be a special edition for Europeans. The Roadster will always be a wide boy.
