how about no aesthetic texture or anything but then have design that allows clipping/tying on a piece of texture so people can buy textures and stuff however they like it, textures can be aftermarket and from factory or can have advertising deals with aftermarket people by having options showed in the factory online order configurator. such extra pieces can be brought anytime. personalization decoration market is big.

this example is a arm rest from view from above the black coming off the door is armrest, the blue is the texture cloth that warps around the armrest (3 dimensionally) and the red is the place to cord lock the texture around the arm rest platform.

I'm interested to see what the production units will look like with no wrap at all. They said for instance if I pick Noir the body will be black without wrap anyways. I suppose it won't look as good as a wrap, but would save thousands not having to replace it in a few years.

I'm leaning more towards custom interior than custom exterior. For instance the only thing I like about VW EVs is the white steering wheel. Top thing I like about the Model 3 is the white seats option... I might end up with either everything white but red seats or everything red but with white seats.

Also, on the 3-tone, I believe the top of the white part should flow into the bottom of the tail-light, instead of "crashing" into its front edge. "3-Tone" vs. "3-Tone2":

Maybe also best with the blue & white wrapping smoothly under the nose, but I lost my patience modding the pic.

I just want black & white, but without the lower nose mis-matching the lower body the way the current model does, & without the nose's lightbar mis-matching the black-out headlights:

Also for ALL colors (except all-black) like @my_discord_number_is_0328 mentioned here, & there's another whole thread about it, get rid of the un-smooth line at the bottom corner of the windshield. Make the line go smoothly from the hood to the side window.

there are apprently colors that cant be seen through most electronic screens b/c most screens are limited to the RedGreenBlue spectrum of colors, this and optical illusions stuff bring attention to the car that would otherwise not be had especially from rich people who buy expensive cars but dont really enjoy driving, and more and more people are like that nowadays b/c people dont go drive to meet friends anymore or even go outside very much anymore. also see look how much car indutry spends on gimmicks like screens and lights and textures in cabin, customers are much more concerned with appearance than it used to be

I'm looking at a satin green chrome for mine. (no solar on the rear hatch) The forest green one you did reinforced my idea that this is what I will like.

Some colors will date a vehicle. I usually like colors that defy dating the vehicle to a certain model year. Harley Davidson motorcycles have some colors or badges on their tanks that date them to a particular year.

I like the ruby red of the newish Mustangs and the copper or gold of some of the exotic cars out there.
