I wouldn't panic, they probably aren't planning on looking at your order and slapping one together, and then telling you to bring down some cash and pick up your vehicle. Really, I expect them to reach out to you as you get reasonably close to a production slot for your order. (You might want to drop them a note if you feel like a major change IE. wanting to go from a 1000 range to a 400 range, as that might change the availability date, but unless you've got a reserve in the first 1000 vehicles that probably wont end up being relevant.) As an idea, here is a short clip from a notification Aptera sent. "We will reach out to you in 2021 to confirm the details of your order."
@Bob Paris Unless I'm mistaken, that other California electric car company contacted its reservation-holders at some point before production began in earnest and requested they place a deposit to guarantee delivery. I would expect something similar to happen in Aptera's case: Perhaps something in the 10%-20% range... Whatever the actual case, Aptera isn't going to build your vehicle until locking you into a purchase/lease contract - so you should be able to adjust your order up until that time.
I will send an email to them...but my desire was to get the Aptera sooner rather than later...Having chosen the 1000 mile version, I will not see this until mid-2022 since other versions are coming out sooner. Well, I want mine sooner and will ask to go from the 1000 version to the 600. Thanks for the input.
@Bob Paris I emailed to ask about the schedule just the other day - because the "future designs" chart is already at least a year out of sync. I was told that they are in the process of "refining the calendar" because so much depends upon funding, the new facility, materials availability, etc. From what I gather they do NOT have a set time-frame - after the completion of the Paradigm and Paradigm+ model run - for when they intend to produce what.

I am waiting until I see the Dev Vehicles on the road with my best guess with what I want
My vehivle is a 60 kWh so i will not see that until 2022, so no rush Right?🐢
Agreed. I should change to the 1000 mile option.
