What will be the biggest drawback about owning an Aptera?

Keeping the keys away from my children and teen age grand kids

Another anticipated hardship: Having to leave it in the driveway and take another vehicle when I need to carry more than myself and one other passenger.

Of course I could just let them take the other car and still drive the Aptera myself.

Either:

• Being an hour late for appointments/reservations, or;

• Leaving at least an hour earlier that usual for appointments/reservations to accommodate the inevitable crowds and questions when you park your Aptera and try to get out of the car.

[Bonus Option] Sell tickets for a quick spin around the parking lot or block!

It probably will be fielding the, hopefully rare, dorky questions. Happy to answer genuinely curious, intellectually engaged questions all day. The deliberately dopey, semi rhetorical questions asked by ignorant-and-proud-of-it by-standers; not so much.

I think the answer is,,no.

Three wheels don't qualify.

Follow up, that is the reason for a planned four wheel Aptera.

I think we can plan to spend a lot of time answering questions, like "How can I get one of these?" and "Does it fly?"
