WEFUNDER what will happen?

I put $1,500 into wefunder after it went way over the $550,000 limmit for its crowdfunding. it says on the wefunder website that everyone who invests after reaching $550,000 will be moved into regulation D. This is contradicted by the comments from Chris below. My question is if I somehow get into the regulation D would the same stock scheme apply to my $1,500?

If all the unaccredited investors over $550,000 have to be refunded that will really suck because everyone will lose their fee paid and feels a bit deceptive.

What does it take to become a accredited investor. What requirements.

To be an accredited investor, a person must have an annual income exceeding $200,000 ($300,000 for joint income) for the last two years with the expectation of earning the same or a higher income in the current year. OR have a net worth exceeding $1 million individually or combined with a spouse or spousal equivalent (excluding value of primary residence)
