In 2008, gas rose to around $4.25 a gallon and I was desperate for a solution. Elio came about. A 3 wheel car very similar in appearance to the Aptera, getting 84 mpg, costing $7,000, many colors, non refundable place in line for $100. The company sells it’s stock but the factory is shuttered. My heart was broken waiting for that car. Aptera has the Elio beat in every way, but will this be another humiliating decades long wait? When will they be ready? How close are they to beating every deliverable obstacle?

IMHO
I am not sure this “ back of the napkin“ presentation is accurate.
I personally will wait for the new facility to come, incorporating what they adapt from Monroe and how Aptera incorporates all that, Along with outcome from their three Development vehicle testing / crash testing etc....which they can then refresh their annual Investor Presentation slides with current forecast volume estimates
Continue funding of course factors in.
I believe the new site has a 40,000 Sf building with ability to add another 100,000sf...“if“ I am recalling that correctly. So if they sub out assembly manufacturing, which have mentioned.... and finalize with this tyoe if micro mobile assembly , this can hopefully be good (?)
But I , like the presenter and thousands more.... have our reservations in and 🤞
