South of me, in Nogales, AZ has a zone that is nothing but refrigerated warehouses, down here in the Sonoran 🥵desert, used for distribution / processing produce. I don’t think there is one building whose roof is not covered with solar PV solar panels including their entrance canopy/ carports. Some solar fields too, which I assume power the same area operations?
No high vegetation near these to shade the panels and....mountain ranges are set away from this open flat area.
Every parking lot should have a solar roof. It gives shade, & for little more cost it could also keep rain & snow off.
