After reading many of the discussion on this forum, I am wondering if many people have put a deposit down on the wrong vehicle. Time to re-evaluate what it is one wants out of this project.

I can get on board with that. My post covid goal is to on a multi state camping trip. I have the cyber truck on order as well as the Aptera. It's a race to see which one gets manufactured first.
Of course....it's meant as a little Covid humor. We all need a laugh. But they have the right idea, just need to expound upon it. Triple the speed and make safety improvements haha.
I take it this post is meant as a joke.
We only need to group buy 500 of them and we can get it at 3,000$ each. My wife said if i get one i can go ahead and move into it! I am down to get one..
Umm.... April first is a ways off yet. At that speed, I hope your favorite camp site is pretty close. And doesn’t require any highway transit.
It would be better marketed as a city use delivery van. Somewhere like central London, the average speed is only something like 11mph anyway, and the speed limit is 30mph nearly everywhere in a UK city. As an RV, it would be ideal student accommodation... If we were content to go slower, we could have very low cost transport especially in cities.
