Yes I know people are allocated a "position" according to the time and date they paid their reservation fee but how about having a raffle / Lotto to select one lucky winner to receive their #APTERA before anyone else? You can even expand this idea per country that paid their reservation fees.
This could be a great publicity stunt to promote #APTERA - just make sure that you have at least 2 completed vehicles ready! The raffle/lotto winner gets the winning ticket unit one and whoever was 1st on the reservation list gets the 2nd :)
You could even sell the raffle / lotto tickets at $25 a ticket and that way get some more free revenue. If enough people are interested (or set a target of $25 000 ticket sales to make it valid) you could even make the entry model a prize or have the reservation owner (if they have a raffle/lotto ticket) get it for free?
Just an idea. (Raffle / Lotto ticket buyers will actually crowd-fund one lucky person)
