You may know that Alec Issigonis invented the mini car. What you probably don’t know is that there is a drawing of his on the wall of the British motor museum at Gaydon on the M40 in England. https://www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk/
It shows a sketch of a people’s car which is the same size as a Mini and has 4 wheels. The incredible thing is he has all 4 wheels with all of them being driven by an electric motor situated within the wheel itself

Did some motoring in our Mini this afternoon. This is a pic from a couple of weeks ago. Issigonas was a sharp guy. His cars are still efficient and fun to drive by today’s standards.
