Aptera has just released a new video with Steve Fambro. It is a good video with good information.
Some of the items I found interesting at the following times in the video are:
2:18 It shows the snap cover on the console. Others will like this though I do not. I do not like its appearance and I think it looks a little cheesy. Of course it can be easily removed, but the snaps on the console remain. I would prefer a solid, upholstered cover just sitting on this part of the console simply held on by gravity that can be easily removed by hand.
2:26 A holder is attached to the back of the seat so a flap can be connected, to extend the rear cargo floor. The holder on the back of the seat has the name Aptera on it. In a previous interview with Chris by Nikki of the Y-Tube channel Transport Evolved, Chris did not say, but made it sound like the seats were temporary and they were looking at other seats. It sounds like these are the final production seats.
3:16 A good view of the belly pan is provided. The under-dash glove compartment is shown.
Overall, I think this is an excellent video.
Remember this is only an Alpha vehicle there is Beta, then Gamma and Delta which will be the production intended vehicle
They have even featured a seat rendering ( attached) with a backpack design , which is not in the Sol . I have seen the vehicle
@pistonboy I liked two things in particular: His mention of some of the changes coming to the beta prototypes and his explanation that cooling is via the belly pan, not "all through the body", as was suggested by an earlier animation.
As there are connector-heads visible around the belly pan, I wonder if it's going to be metal - rather than composite...
