I use to be a global travelers and just recall some vehicles in some countries “that may be considered a motorcycle like mororized rickshaws and the like... have alicense plate or label in the front too. If that is true..a label- license plate is allowed there, that would be easy for the Aptera.... although the aerodynamic shape does not “present” a vertical surface.. WOW Rickshaw to Aptera... what a change
Luckily California only requires a rear plate on motorcycles. The Aptera will have the smaller 4" x 7" motorcycle plate. Only automobiles here require a front plate. Can't speak for the rest of the country.
Nathan Armstrong mentioned in a Zoom session they are testing the font are now, near the front log,for placing the plug, possibly a few different plugs, up there!
BTW “I think” police target the flat surface of license plates with their speed devices and anything over a plate can impact that reading
some places require license plate on front of car too, for this the empty space inside teh front end of car could se transparent to allow license plate to sit inside and be visible from outside. front end is a more easily replaceable crash piece anyway, so transparent material doesn't have to be something so strong. not sure of the space is big enough for license plate.
@my_discord_number_is_0328 At present no state in the US or province in CA recognizes the Aptera as an automobile: It is either considered to be a motorcycle or an autocycle.
No state or province requires a front license plate on a motorcycle or autocycle.
On the rear there is an area designed for the license plate, in between the two holes for cabin air exhaust. For the front, there is no requirement for a license plate for motorcycles.

The license plate mounted on the first prototype.

Unlike a car's license plate (12" x 6"), a motorcycle's license plate measures 7" x 4".
