For some of you, the Aptera may be your first EV. The Internet is a lonely place to get information. I personally have found that the many clubs and organizations who focus on EV's is a great place to learn about EV's and make good comparisons. It's a good place to find why and how different options available were selected. I didn't want to be one of the people who said "I wish I would have gotten a different battery size or motor option". Although I have had EV's for nearly 20 years (yes, back when we only had sealed lead-acid batteries), I find the camaraderie and social events at these organized functions quite helpful. I personally associate with those who like to modify, convert, or build their own vehicles whether it be motorcycles or cars. The Aptera is a perfect blend for me. Most events are held locally and one can find people with similar personalities and aptitude. Many will let you try out their cars, for most are quite pleased with their selections. It's good to get personal opinions directly from actual owners about the pluses and minuses of their EV's Most events have booths with vendors of various charging accessories and events. This year will still be stifled with some Covid precautions. Most important, most have organized lobbying for both local, state, and federal governments. We were able to get two Level 2 public charging stations installed by the county right here at a beach front restaurant zone. You can do a lot to shape your own future.
