In the united states does this quantify as part of the federal tax credit for vehicles? I'm gonna use this to commute and Toro it. I'm also in New Jersey where we get 5k check by registering it and no taxes. I already own a model 3 and reserve a cybertruck. I will reserve on now if so just for my commute, the wife probably wont want the Aptera. The game changer is the Full solar option, also why if true solar on the cybertuck will be there.
Edit You can't get ev credits for nj autocycle=motorcycle

I will suggest Aptera legal team starts lobbying all states for Solar Credits in line with EV Credits introduced a few years ago, this may significantly increase Aptera models in work force as a commuter car..
I'm wondering if the Elio's legal team ( or their legal tactics ) that established "autocycle" as a vehicle designation in almost every state could help establish Autocycle Federal and State ev rebates.
Here is a link to a the National Conference of State Legislature article about autocycle legislation . New Jersey has an autocycle designation that fits the Atpera:

Unfortunately, electric 3 wheeled vehicles do not currently qualify for federal or New Jersey EV rebates. 3 wheelers did qualify for a federal rebate until 2014. Other states have other rules. Hopefully we can get the rules changed with the help of our incoming, more green energy friendly administrations.
Here's the New Jersey page that mentions the electric motorcycle exclusion: https://chargeup.njcleanenergy.com/program-eligibility . (I couldn't find an explicit reference to autocycles or 3 wheeled vehicle rebates.)
Technically the Aptera is registered as an "autocycle" - less than 4 wheels and inclosed passenger space. I have the same question about EV credits... Anyone know?
