Ok! It sounds stupid and I'm asking after seeing that picture. But I really want to know. In the old days, it was a thing that VW Beetles actually floated, or at least took a long time for the water to leak in.
I now live next to a reasonably sized creek and periodically get floods. The road past the house gets water fills first, so I need to keep watch in order to get out before getting stranded.
So,
Will it actually float?
How high of water would it be safe to drive through?
Would the water short the motors? If you actually off-roading, your going through creeks.
I'm sure people will come up with some more questions, like hydroplaning.
I did ask this earlier, Chris Anthony's answer:
No, the Aptera is not meant to be submerged. The component can get wet and be submerged quickly. But long term running underwater is not an ambition of our right now.
