Before I bought my Model 3 I made sure that I could fit a standard hay bale in the back with the seats folded down. The Aptera back looks long (long enough for skis) but the top slopes. Is there area enough to fit a 3-string hay bale which is 22”x44”x16” and still close the top?

I have to bring my trash and recycle to a transfer station, as there is no pick up service. Occasionally a load could be bigger than a bale… Not worried. A waterproof liner should work and the free charge from the sun makes it painless, even if it means an occasional second trip
If they do indeed have tge hitch option a simple lightweight trailer could be in the cards
