There has been some discussion on FB regarding the rules in various states for legally driving an Aptera vehicle. I put together a quick list of what I could find online. Some of the information is old, some anecdotal. I did not research the information Just copy, paste, and format.
If anyone has better info, please leave me a note and I will update the sheet.

I couldn't add a comment to the sheet - so here's for Utah:
Utah:
"Autocycle" means a motor vehicle that:
(a) is designed to travel with three or fewer wheels in contact with the ground;
(b) is equipped with a steering wheel; and
(c) is equipped with seating that does not require the operator to straddle or sit astride the vehicle.
An autocycle is subject to the same requirements as a motorcycle under the Motor Vehicle Act.
Left mirror required, center or right mirror not required.
Regular drivers license is legal for driving an Autocycle. Motorcycle license not required. Helmet not required if autocycle is enclosed.

I can access the link now. It looks like Colorado is not right. Aptera is classed as an autocycle not a trike in Colorado and does not require a motorcycle license or helmet. Colorado probably will require front and back car-sized license plates and two review mirrors (left-middle or left-right).
We cannot access the Google doc. You need to change how you shared it.
