@Harry Parker I test drove a Nissan Leaf about 10 years ago, fully intending to buy, but walked away with a Nissan Juke instead. One of the things I really disliked about the Leaf was the electric motor whine. I have tinnitus and loud high-pitched tones just drive me nuts. I know the Aptera will have a whine, but I'm hopeful that the combination of in-wheel motors, wheel pants, and composite cabin will dampen the sound to an acceptable level. I can't wait until they have some available for a test drive!
