An aggressive investor could put the money he would spend on an Aptera into a stock purchase and probably pay for his vehicle by the time he took delivery in two years. Go Aptera!
An aggressive investor who believes in Aptera would buy Apetra stock on every funding round with the expectation of a buy out or IPO with gains in the stock price larger than the market itself.
AFAIK there were basically three founding shareholders and Chris and Steve are involved while Michael is not with the aptera side of things. Michael is the founder of Flux Power and is probably heavily involved in the battery supply.
From the website employee list:
Venture co-founder, owner, and president/CEO of Esenjay Petroleum, an upstream O&G exploration company based in Corpus Christi, Tex. Co-founder, major shareholder, and director of Flux Power, a lithium-power provider.
@Rcnesneg Michael Johnson invested a considerable amount of money during the first two years when Aptera came back. And I would assume he invested more after that. I remember when he invested 1 million dollars during a turning point early in the development stage. Michael Johnson is a valuable resource and believer in Aptera and their mission.
Aptera Motors needs SEC approval for another round of financing at a share price of $8.80. The previous round was priced at 3.80/share with a cap at $50M. This round has a cap at $75M. For those who bought shares in the previous round these shares more than doubled in value. The success of the next funding round will depend upon how well Aptera can stay on their original schedule for delivering production vehicles in 2021.
@sol beach As long as the shares do not trade anywhere they have not doubled. However if we are invited to participate, I will invest once again to support them get the car into production.

10.9 M shares offered at $8.80/ share raising $69M for Aptera.
Valuations: Sept 2020: $40M. June 2021: $200M. Aug 2021: $463M
After looking it over, my only question is why does Michael Johnson Properties, Ltd. own more stock than either Steve or Chris?
Thanks for sharing!
Can anyone tell us why this was filed and what the implications are?
