There was just recently an identical thread here, where someone posted that every version uses a glass hatch, unfortunately (composite would be lighter, & better insulation)
I can’t imagine that Aptera would not take advantage of this low hanging fruit to lighten the vehicle and lower the center of gravity. Can someone from Aptera speak to this?🤔
A simple piece of polycarbonate would work in this application sine it would be covered in solar cells anyway. The best solution I think would be to use the same body material but maybe that is not practical at this stage.
