See my post today in the Aptera Forum "Other EVs" category. It discusses Hyundai's KONA newly reported range record. I want to know how much further the Aptera would go on a similar trial run. Of course Aptera will blow it away, but by how much?

A Model 3 will hold its value - they don't depreciate NEARLY so quickly as ICE vehicles. Why not buy one now and then trade it in on an Aptera?
I'm holding off on buying a Tesla Model 3 because I'm in love with Aptera's paradigm shift. So much so, that I would buy it with an ICE. I'm 78 and this will be my last car. I want it to be really unique, a BEV if possible.
Here's an interesting article about real-world efficiency/range: https://arstechnica.com/cars/2020/08/teslas-model-3-beats-competitors-in-70mph-range-test/
For range records (driving slow), it's going to come down to idle power consumption. Autonomous hardware, inverter efficiency, coolant pumps a significant portion assuming HVAC is off.
What's more important, e.g., would sell faster, $30K/450 range, or $45K/1000 range? Personally, I want to buy the shorter range, but for publicity Aptera might be better off starting out with the longer range.
